A trip to the countryside. In the northeast of Bocholt lies the Bocholt city forest, which invites visitors to stroll, walk, run and linger on its 69 hectares.
Beautiful walks that lead past forest and meadow enclosures where wild boar, fallow deer and red deer live.
Even the little visitors get their money's worth, because here you can see goats and sheep up close. Cranes along the waterways in the city forest provide a touch of the exotic.
If you would like to strengthen yourself after a walk, you can go to the restaurant in the city forest, next to which there is also a nice playground.
