Our goal is to support young people in both school and extracurricular settings in considering things from different perspectives, recognizing the consequences of their actions, and making responsible decisions. We want to learn from and with each other and shape the future together.
Regular network meetings at the participating schools and partner institutions form the basis of our collaboration. Ideas and experiences are shared, and joint projects and partnerships can develop. Together, we are active and implement education for sustainable development through concrete actions.
Our activities are guided by the United Nations' "17 Sustainable Development Goals" (17 SDGs) and the "Education for Sustainable Development" guidelines of the North Rhine-Westphalia Ministry of Education . The ESD Regional Center of the NLW Foundation coordinates and provides expert support for network activities in close consultation with all participants.
The Naturpark Hohe Mark works, among other things, with the ESD regional center of the NLW Foundation and the Zwillbrock Biological Station, as well as with the “Network School of the Future in the District”. Borken zusammen.
Also with the Coesfeld District Biological Center as one of eight Naturparkhouses within the Naturparks sets the Naturpark Hohe Mark GNI around.
