It's not just the lakes that are worth seeing here! Although water is the connecting element, historic buildings, idyllic nature and even an observatory await you on this 33 km tour.

Drive on the Münsterland-Wabe 128 following the signs past the imposing youth castle Gemen - surrounded by a wide moat and a beautiful park.

The tour continues to the Mariengarden Monastery with its monastery lake. For a nice break, the monastery’s former gatehouse is home to one of the oldest restaurants in the district. Borken a good opportunity.

From here it is also worth taking a detour to the Burlo-Vardingholter Venn nature reserve, which offers a magical nature experience with its moorland waters, wet heaths and a viewing platform.

We return through the farming communities to the Pröbstingsee . Maybe a coffee break now?
