May hike with the Naturparkleader Berthold Great Homann

Under the motto "New hiking loop Naturpark Hohe Mark" the municipality of Schermbeck invites all interested nature and hiking enthusiasts on Saturday, May 14.5.2022th, XNUMX to a three to four hour hike in the Üfter Mark to Schermbeck.

The group starts at 10 a.m. at Landgasthof Triptrap, Erler Str. 292 in Schermbeck. The certified NaturparkGuide Berthold Große Homann will guide the hiking group through the forest area in the Naturpark Hohe Mark accompany. On the almost 9-kilometer route, he will show the special features of the Üfter Mark with well-founded knowledge and natural stories.

The first informative stop will be at the RWW fountain gallery Üfter Mark, in which groundwater is pumped from a depth of 70 to 100 meters. From there it goes on to the RVR forest base Üfter Mark. You will learn interesting details about the forest and the red deer population Niederrhein. Afterwards, a stopover at a wildlife observation station is planned. The hike ends again at the Triptrap inn.
