The 2,3-kilometer-long forest nature trail in the Barloer Busch, after five years of planning and implementation by many involved parties, has now been opened to the public. Here, visitors can learn a great deal about the forest ecosystem. The texts were written by Bernhard von Blanckenburg and can be accessed via a QR code on the information panel using a mobile phone. Astrid Hochstrat compiled the information on climate change, tree species, forestry operations, and much more, and presented it graphically at www.dorsten.de under "Culture and Leisure"/"Forest Nature Trail".
