On this tour you will see a minor celebrity: the legendary Femeiche in Erle. At 1.500 years old, it is one of the oldest oaks in Germany and has witnessed quite a few Feme courts in the Middle Ages.
In Raesfeld, the historic moated castle also invites you to explore a small piece of history.
In the idyllic setting of the adjacent zoo, you can explore one of the many natural treasures of the Naturpark High mark.
Before you explore the water landscape along the Lippe and the Wesel-Dattel Canal, the towboat village of Krudenburg will impress you with its rustic atmosphere.
