North-east of Gescher-Hochmoor lies in the source region of the Heubach the nature reserve "Fürstenkuhle" (from Voskenkuhle = Fuchsloch), a rest of a raised moor with a central, surrounded by broken forest, large heath pond and typical vegetation.
Here visitors experience a very special natural spectacle on warm March days. With a little luck you can overhear the mysterious wedding concert of the moor frogs. The special thing about this love game is the intense blue coloration of the male moor frogs.
