In the midst of a wonderful forest landscape lies the Naturwildpark Granat. Local and exotic animals can be observed here. With a few exceptions, the animals roam freely on the 600.000m² park area, spacious and natural. Exceptions: kangaroos, lynx, wild boar and wolves.
You can spend up to two hours wandering through the area on the hiking trails and observing the animals, because there is a lot to see here: the lynxes with their 2800²m area or wet biotopes with water turtles, koi carp, frogs and much more.
The current animal population is 400 to 500 species. Native and exotic species.
In addition to a large playground for younger visitors, the park offers numerous resting and picnic opportunities.
There is a fee to enter the park.
