Historic moated castles, quiet forest paths, expansive meadows and the famous wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch – this cycling tour takes you right through the heart of the Naturpark High mark.

all around Reken You can expect varied day trips on well-developed cycle paths, relaxed nature experiences and impressive cultural sites.
Along the way you will discover imposing castles and palaces, cozy places with Münsterländer Hospitality and idyllic landscapes amidst fields, forests, and streams. After each stage, you return to Reken and lets the day end in a relaxed manner.

1 day: Reken Heiden Borken – Ramsdorf – Velen Reken | approx. 45 km
The first stage takes you through the diverse parkland of the MünsterlandIt. About Heiden can you reach Borken with the impressive Gemen Castle, which is one of the most beautiful historical sites in the region. The route continues to Ramsdorf Castle and then on to... Velen with its picturesque castle and historic zoo. You cycle back to [destination] along quiet paths. Reken.

2 day: Reken – Lembeck – Erle – Raesfeld – Reken | approx. 60 km
Today you can expect to see some of the most famous castles of the MünsterlandLembeck Water Castle impresses with its baroque architecture and expansive castle park. In Erle, a stop at the famous "Femeiche," one of Germany's oldest trees, is worthwhile. Another highlight is Raesfeld Castle with its historic grounds and adjacent wildlife park. Cafés and restaurants here invite you to a relaxing break with a view of the castle.

3 day: Reken Dülmen Merfeld – Merfeld – Reken | approx. 50 km
Today's tour takes you through the idyllic Heubach meadows towards DülmenThe destination is the Merfelder Bruch nature reserve, home to the famous DülmenThe wild horses. The free-roaming herd offers a unique nature experience. During the season, the animals can be observed up close on Saturdays and Sundays (entrance fee payable in cash). Impressed by the unique atmosphere, you can then enjoy a relaxing bike ride through the tranquil countryside. Naturparks back to Reken.

4 day: Reken
Before heading home, there's time for one last short exploration. The signposted 5-heart tours lead through the gently rolling landscape around [location name]. Reken – passing forests, fields and beautiful viewpoints in the Naturpark Hohe Mark. Those who prefer a more relaxed pace can simply enjoy the laid-back atmosphere one last time.
