The long-distance cycle route along the Lippe, North Rhine-Westphalia's longest river, stretches for more than 400 kilometers between Detmold and Xanten. Here you can experience Hanseatic cities, lakeside towns, green cities, historic towns... simply beautiful cities, as well as Roman culture, birdsong, blue skies, and a view that never ceases to amaze. And not only that: On the Römer-Lippe-Route It's all about the water experience! As the only long-distance cycle route, it offers you the chance to cross the river by ferry at four different points – a real highlight!
