Wild horses in the Merfelder Bruch

On Europe's last remaining wild horse trail, a herd of around 400 free-roaming horses wanders through meadows and heathland. Dun-colored with a dark dorsal stripe and full of energy – here you can watch foals playing, mares nursing their young, or horse families dozing peacefully in the grass. Truly special beauties, which is why we've named the third stage of the Hohe Mark Cycle Route, where you can experience a real "wow" moment, just like on every guided tour for young and old!
