Follow the course of the water! This tour offers 44 km of historical canals and river landscapes that are well worth seeing. Ideally, start at the train station in Lünen.
The well-developed paths along the Lippe, the Datteln-Hamm Canal and Wesel-Datteln Canal guarantee you relaxed cycling.
Enjoy the view over the varied water landscape from the shore while you are guided along the natural, artificial or historical waterways.
In Haltern-Flaesheim, change to the Lippe ferry "Maifisch". While your legs are given a short break, use the hand crank to bring yourself over your lip with dry feet.
At the end of your tour, you will be welcomed by the historic old town in Haltern am See. From here you can take the train back to Lünen.
