Who likes the silence. The Hullerner See is something for walkers or cyclists who are looking for quiet leisure activities. The idyllic lake offers a circular route with tranquil vantage points.

All year round you can watch the hustle and bustle on the lake and on land: cormorants, grebes, geese, pochard or gray herons, to name just a few representatives of the bird world - and with a little luck you may even see an osprey.

On request, the city of Haltern's tourist information office can also arrange ornithological tours around the lake.

You can reach Lake Hullern from the Heimingshof excursion restaurant or from the Stockwieser Damm, parking lot at the Lakeside Inn, on foot along the Stever.
