For those who appreciate peace and quiet… Lake Hullern is perfect for walkers or cyclists seeking tranquil leisure activities. The idyllic lake offers a circular path with many peaceful viewpoints.

The activity on the lake and on land can be observed all year round: cormorants, great crested grebes, geese, pochards and grey herons, to name just a few representatives of the bird world - and with a little luck even an osprey.

On request, the city of Haltern's tourist information office can also arrange ornithological tours around the lake.

You can reach Lake Hullern from the Heimingshof restaurant or from the Stockwieser Damm.
