Stag beetle route and moor adventure trail

A variety of landscapes right at the gates of the city of Wesel and two special tours that can be hiked independently or combined: the stag beetle route and the moor adventure trail.

The starting point is the hiking car park at the southern entrance to the Diersfordt game reserve. The main trail is followed by the 3,7 km long stag beetle route. Further north of the 2 km long moor adventure trail.

Information boards explain a lot about the forest and its inhabitants and, with a bit of luck, mouflons, fallow deer, red deer and wild boars can be seen.

The clear signage ensures good orientation and the two observation platforms provide a good view and overview.

Due to the wildlife, there are no benches or litter bins.
