Hiking, feasting and experiencing culture on the circular hiking trail Reken-Dülmen-Olfen-Haltern am See-Reken.

Discover the unique “ForestWaterPark landscape” in the Naturpark Hohe Mark. Meet wild horses and semi-wild Heck cattle, walk through the red sea of ​​flowers of the Westruper Heide
(July – September) and enjoy the enchanting views of the reservoirs. Then climb the Waldbeerenberg, the highest elevation of the Hohe Mark at 145,9 m above sea level, and marvel at the Rekenthe tower windmill, one of the most beautiful and oldest of its kind. The Halterner reservoirs, the Steveraue, the Hohe Mark forest area and the Merfelder Bruch offer a tempting hiking backdrop. Fantastic trails, picturesque riverside promenades and idyllic forest and farm tracks make the hike very varied.
