“Olle Kerkpatt” adventure trail in Bocholt

NEW Im Naturpark Hohe Mark There are already many places where nature can be actively experienced. But we want more:

Gradually, we are creating new adventure trails for families that playfully introduce children and adults to nature.

Whether through forests, meadows, or along small streams, our adventure trails are all about exercise, fresh air, and spending time together outdoors. The routes are varied, close to nature, and family-friendly—without dangerous roads or long commutes. And best of all, every trail is a little adventure with its own story!

“Olle Kerkpatt” – an adventure with Jupp, the boy from the buffalo farm

The first adventure trail takes you to Bocholt-Barlo. There, a very special journey through time awaits: the "Olle Kerkpatt" , an old church path as it was used by people over 100 years ago.

You will be accompanied by Jupp , a farm boy from the old days who lived on what is now the Kragemann Buffalo Farm . He will take you on his journey back home – past fields, through small woods, and over cobblestones. Along the way, he will tell you about his daily life, pose little riddles, and show you how people lived back then.
