Little by little, we are creating new Adventure trails for familiesthat bring children and adults closer to nature in a playful way.

Whether through forests, meadows, or along small streams, our adventure trails are all about exercise, fresh air, and spending time together outdoors. The routes are varied, close to nature, and family-friendly—without dangerous roads or long commutes. And best of all, every trail is a little adventure with its own story!

“Olle Kerkpatt” – an adventure with Jupp, the boy from the buffalo farm

The first adventure trail takes you to Bocholt-Barlo, where a very special journey through time awaits: The “Old Church Patt”, an old church path as it was used by people over 100 years ago.

You will be accompanied by Jupp, a farmer's boy from the past, who lived on the present Büffelhof Kragemann He takes you on his journey back home – past fields, through small forests, and over cobblestones. Along the way, he tells you about his everyday life, asks you little riddles, and shows you how people lived back then.
