6 km with a view and a look back at the same time. Looking out into nature and into five time zones at the same time – you can experience these surprising moments in the Dingdener-Büngerner Heide.

The journey through time begins in 1320 and gives an impression of the use of the forest as a pasture and the hard work of the plaggen. You will learn about forest marks in the Middle Ages, the formation of the heath and its cultivation, as well as the privatization of forest areas, the heyday of grassland in the 19th century and modern agriculture in the 20th century.
