3 nights at the Hotel Restaurant zur Mühle – bookable all year round
The Hotel Restaurant “zur Mühle” is a truly traditional establishment. Hospitality has been paramount here since 1902. The comfortable rooms offer space for two, three, or up to six people, making it ideal for families to enjoy their holidays together, naturally including a generous breakfast buffet each morning.
The restaurant offers modern country-style cuisine and is popular and well-known far beyond the borders of Schermbeck. The mill is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long hike or bike ride. It also serves as the ideal starting point for hiking and cycling routes in the region. Naturpark Hohe Mark. Rental bikes and e-bikes are also available.

1 day:
Arrival from 3:00 pm and short exploration by bicycle on the Deer & Ships – Hohe Mark Cycle Route tour.
Dinner at a reserved table in the restaurant including a complimentary welcome drink.
2 day:
We're heading to the RevierRoute – Countryside Excursion – Hohe Mark Cycle Route. Farms, HeidenRomantic mining landscapes and natural paradises. A tribute to the post-mining landscape of the northern Ruhr region and an extraordinary tour, full of discoveries and lakes. 53 km long, travel time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes.
In the afternoon, a pleasant walk in Gahlen, near our hotel, is highly recommended. The Kneipp pool, just a few hundred meters away, offers the perfect refreshment for tired feet.
3 day:
Get on your bike including packed lunch: Medium course – Hohe Mark cycle route over 132 km (riding time: 8:00 hours) from the hotel.
4 day:
Departure until 11:00 am

For 3 people in a double room with a large sofa bed: €459
Additional persons or children in a double or family room: €90,00 each. Children under 6 years stay free.
