Münsterländer Pure parkland! From three small streams through the river landscape Bocholter Aa to the Oude IJssel.
Do you like water, picturesque river meadows, wide country views coupled with a love of culture and country? We invite you to experience this rural idyll on the Bocholter Aa bike path from Velen and Borken, Rhede and Bocholt to Isselburg!
Wide field corridors alternate with small forest areas and picturesque river meadows; Cafés along the way and attractive towns invite you to linger. The 58 km long river originates in Velen from the confluence of three smaller streams. In its course through the Westmünsterland he meanders past Borken, Rhede, Bocholt and Isselburg towards the Netherlands. There it soon flows into the Oude IJssel.
Cycle through the Münsterland park landscape and enjoy the rural idyll with a view of the beautiful floodplains and wide fields along the way.
