Hiking through sand and heather from Ramsdorf Castle to Gemen Castle

In front of Ramsdorf Castle, we learn something about its history and then hike on a wooded and hilly route through sand and heather to the castle in Gemen. After about 2,5 km we admire an old manor and then hike through the cultural and historical landscape of the eastern mountains. It goes through a thousand year old barrow field from the early Bronze Age and later through a medieval Hudewald. After about 2,5 hours we “climb” the 92 m high Lünsberg. After the "descent" we hike through forest, sand and heath over the Fliegerberg and take the remaining 3,3 km to the castle in Gemen under our feet the idyllic inn located on the Aa *Geers one. After refreshment, we take the last ~ 250 m to the bus stop under our feet and take the R51 bus back to Ramsdorf.

-A stop at the Gasthaus * Geers is part of the program for all participants. - The return journey to Ramsdorf (center) takes place by bus R51 (runs on Saturdays -: 06 a.m. every hour from Gemen evang. Church), with a collective ticket, part costs ~ 2,00 € * .-

Registration: Required - as individuals or as a group, with 15 - max. 25 people. Organization of the tour under the rules of conduct on the occasion of the current corona pandemic.

Notes: Bring with you: suitable shoes and weatherproof clothing, if necessary food. - With the bus R51, which runs every hour, we come back to the starting point of our hike (price ~ 2,00 € / pers.) - For the visit, 1,00 € / pers. due. Everyone pays the costs for a stop on the way.
