We'll make it happen! Earth Hour on March 28, 2026

Im Naturpark Hohe Mark Every day we witness how closely our landscapes, animals, plants, and climate are interconnected. This year could be one of the hottest since weather records began. At the same time, the climate crisis is repeatedly pushed into the background by other global challenges. But it doesn't disappear—rather, it exacerbates many of the problems that our natural world and our society are already grappling with.

That's precisely why Earth Hour is so important to us. It reminds us how crucial it is not to lose sight of protecting our climate. When people everywhere switch off their lights for an hour, a powerful, collective message is created: We stand together for the protection of our nature and our planet – so that future generations can also experience our landscapes and their diversity.

On March 28, 2026, at 20:30 p.m. local time, it will happen again: Earth Hour connects people all over the world. For one hour, it will get darker – at famous buildings, in cities, in companies, and also here in nature.

As Naturpark We invite you to consciously experience this moment: When the lights are switched off for an hour, space is created to focus on what is essential – our nature, the night sky and our shared responsibility for our planet.

Earth Hour sends a powerful message for climate protection, solidarity, and hope. No matter where you are, you too can be part of this global campaign and make a statement for the climate. It's easy to join in:

  1. Sign up now. This way we can make your participation visible on the Earth Hour map and provide you with tips for your Earth Hour.
  2. Lights out. Switch on March 28, 2026 at 20.30 noon Lights out. Want more? Share your lights-out moment in your status or on social media – and become part of a collective, visible gesture.
