Gescher, 02 June 2025 – Last Sunday the Naturpark Hohe Mark from 11.00 to 17.00 for a varied NaturparkThe market in the museum courtyard became a place full of discoveries and hands-on activities!
The museum courtyard was transformed into a lively marketplace, revolving around nature, bees and wild bees, regional products, and traditional handicrafts. Children, in particular, had a great time: In the Bee Museum, they could solve a beekeeping quiz, while adults gained interesting insights into the history of beekeeping, including curiosities.
The way food is NaturparkGuides were on hand with a variety of activities. Whether it was forest salt, a forest puzzle board, or even the tree puzzle – everyone was encouraged to try them out!
The hunting association's mobile forest school also offered fascinating insights into the local wildlife, vividly explained through exhibits. And for those who wanted to experience animals up close, the sheep were just the thing.
Who more about the Naturpark Hohe Mark wanted to know, he saw the bright red infomobile of the Naturpark Hohe Mark Nowhere else are brochures about cycling and hiking tours in the Naturpark more beautifully presented than in an old French fire engine from 1963!
The touch boxes provided hands-on knowledge, allowing visitors to touch objects from nature.
With stone-baked bread, seasonal vegetables, and the cafeteria in the brewery, there was no shortage of food and drink!
“The market in the museum courtyard Naturparkday is a complete success,” said Marianne Teltrop from Naturpark Hohe Mark. "A perfect experience for an eventful day trip!"
