The General German Bicycle Club (ADFC) Premium quality confirmed for another three years.
The Hohe Mark cycle route leads through shady forests and colorful landscapes. HeidenPassing by shimmering lakes and through fascinating moorlands – impressive nature experiences included. Under the motto "Saddle up and unwind," the route connects a total of 17 municipalities in the region. Naturpark Hohe Mark and extends across three regions: the Niederrhein, an Münsterland and the northern Ruhr area.
The Hohe Mark Cycle Route impressed during its initial certification as a unique "bicycle safari right on your doorstep." In the current assessment, the ADFC (General German Bicycle Club) confirmed the high quality of the route, the excellent infrastructure, and the coherent overall concept. The approximately 280-kilometer-long route through the region has been awarded this certification for another three years. Naturpark Hohe Mark decorate with four stars.
The ADFC presented the certificate for the award last weekend at the "Cycling and Hiking Holidays" trade fair at the CMT Stuttgart. During a festive stage program in front of a large audience, Dagmar Beckmann and Marianne Teltrop from the ADFC accepted the award. Naturpark Hohe Mark the honor.
From the point of view of NaturparkThe award is an important signal: “The four stars are both recognition and an incentive to continue offering our guests a real ‘extra track nature’,” emphasizes Christina Illenseer, Product Management Hohe Mark RadRoute.
The recertification also confirms the ongoing collaboration between the Naturpark Hohe Mark and the participating municipalities. “We are delighted that together we can ensure consistently high quality standards. The Hohe Mark Cycle Route opens up new perspectives on the nature and landscapes of our region,” adds Dagmar Beckmann, Managing Director. Naturpark High mark.
In addition to the main route, cross-connections, stages and day trips are available, allowing the route to be planned flexibly and adapted individually – ideal for both day trips and multi-day cycling tours.
